After working as an investment and insurance advisor for almost eight years, Cecilia Frölund decided in 2022 to combine her passions and start the advisory firm Cefund AB.


Cecilia had identified a gap in a market where high performance, flexibility, personal and continuous support and a customer-centric approach were lacking among most industry peers. Cecilia is driven by personal interaction and with her strong passion for sustainability and innovation, she is adept at identifying new investment opportunities.

    Sustainability is a crucial issue and significantly impacts the financial market and our advice to you. As a player in insurance advisory, we must always act in the best interests of the customer. Part of this responsibility is to be transparent about how we consider sustainability risks so that you, as a customer, can make the most informed decision possible.

    Here you will find information on how we work with sustainability risks and negative impacts on sustainability factors, as well as how we integrate sustainability into our advice to you. The concept of sustainability encompasses environmental aspects, social aspects, and corporate governance aspects. A sustainability risk, for example, is an environmentally related event that could have a significant negative impact on the value of your investment. Sustainability factors refer to environmental, social, and personal issues, respect for human rights, and the fight against corruption and bribery.

    When we distribute insurance (capital insurance and pension insurance) to you and provide advice on financial investments within insurance, we will ask you about your sustainability preferences. If you consider it important that the products you invest in consider sustainability, you will have the opportunity to express which group (environmental or social sustainability factors) you believe should be prioritized. You will also be able to specify to what extent you want us to consider it in our advice when we conduct the so-called suitability assessment to find products that are suitable based on your situation and preferences.

    As new standards (taxonomies) from the EU emerge, and as there is harmonization of sustainability reporting in the insurance and finance industry, our ability to integrate this into our insurance distribution improves, both in terms of our product selection and our advice to you. Our ambition is, therefore, to develop our work on sustainability and in the future, be able to consider both sustainability risks and negative consequences for sustainability factors in our selection processes.

    We have a compensation policy that regulates how our employees are compensated for the work they perform. Our sustainability work does not currently affect our compensation policy for our insurance intermediaries.

    License Cefund AB, registration number 559360-7269, is a registered tied agent of Svensk Värdepappersservice i Stockholm AB (SVP), registration number 556324-5447.


    SVP is a securities company under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) in accordance with the Securities Market Act (2007:528). Being a tied agent to an independent securities company, in our case, SVP, means that we operate under SVP’s license and name regarding the investment services of investment advisory and the reception and transmission of orders concerning financial instruments. SVP reviews our advisory and documentation and ensures that our operations comply with the regulations applicable to the Swedish securities market. The review aims to quality-assure the advice and provide customers with the protection to which they are entitled.

    If you are dissatisfied with, or have concerns or questions regarding the investment services we have offered, we kindly ask you to contact us at Ombudsbolaget in the first instance. Hopefully, together we can clarify the current circumstances to find a solution. There is always the possibility to file complaints with SVP.     Cefund is a registered insurance intermediary with licenses in all life insurance classes and non-life insurance classes 1 (accidents) and 2 (illness) and is under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen). The operations conducted are governed by several different laws and regulations, including the Insurance Distribution Act, the Marketing Act, the Distance Contracts Act, and regulations from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. You can verify our licenses and those authorized to distribute insurance on the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority’s website (www.fi.se).

    Cefund and its employees as insurance intermediaries are covered by mandatory liability insurance for pure financial loss. The insurance covers any liability for damages that Cefund may incur in connection with insurance distribution. Cefund is a member of InsureSec (www.insuresec.se). This means, among other things, that employees as insurance intermediaries must be licensed, our operations are audited by InsureSec, and the Disciplinary Committee for Insurance Distribution has the authority to make decisions in disciplinary matters related to our insurance distribution.

    Cefund is also a member of Swedsec, which means that employees as investment advisors are licensed advisors at Swedsec. Cefund is a member of the insurance mediation organization Tydliga (www.tydliga.se) and the Swedish Insurance Mediators Association (SFM).

    Title 01

    Our ambition is to carry out our mission with the utmost care. If, for any reason, you as a customer feel dissatisfied with our insurance advice, we would appreciate it if you would express your concerns to us. Hopefully, we can resolve the issue together. If you, as a customer, are still dissatisfied, we ask that you submit a written complaint to the Company’s complaints officer at the address below. Complaints will be answered and investigated as soon as possible. If we cannot respond to your case within 14 days from the date of receipt, we will notify you and explain the reason for this. At the same time, you will also be provided with information about the continued handling of your case and when you can expect a response.

    Please send your complaint to the email address provided. Clearly outline what you believe has happened and what your advisor has done wrong. This will facilitate a prompt resolution.

    You can get additional guidance from the Consumer Insurance Agency, the Consumer Banking and Finance Agency, or the municipal consumer guidance. If you are not satisfied with our decision, you can have your issue reviewed by the General Complaints Board (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) or a general court. If you wish to complain about a decision, it is important to do so as soon as possible.
